A strong Trio

The signing of WR Plaxico Burress completed arguably the most stellar free agent class in the league and should produce a passing game with tricky matchups for opposing secondaries.

Starting WRs Burress and Amani Toomer, are 6-5 and 6-3, respectively. TE Jeremy Shockey, the other main receiving threat, is 6-5.

That will make it tough for opponents to get by with undersized defensive backs, especially in the red zone.

Burress has been inconsistent in holding onto the ball and did not have many yards after the catch last season.But he knows how to use his height to his advantage on high balls and he might thrive in a more pass-oriented offense than the one Bill Cowher used in Pittsburgh. . . .
